Finance and Administration
The Division of Finance and Administration works as staff to the Board of Governors, president, and chief operating officer to support the financial management of the UNC System. This includes the areas of budget development and execution, facilities, property, capital construction, debt management, procurement policy, tuition and fee development, efficiency efforts, and analysis of policy changes with a fiscal impact.
Budget Initiatives
The 2023-25 Budget Priorities lay the foundation for a more productive, data-driven, and accountable system of higher education. These priorities are directly tied to the goals in the UNC System Strategic Plan.
Chart of Accounts
The UNC Chart of Accounts (Revised May 23, 2012) includes purpose codes, revenue objects, expense objects, asset and liability accounts that are used in financial reporting (BD 701).
