Submitting a Public Records Request

The UNC System believes in public transparency and providing access to open records and public documents.  Anyone may submit a public document request online.

Requesters for public document should review the Public Record Request Policy and submit detailed requests in writing through the UNC System Office public records portal. To minimize processing time, we encourage requesters to be as specific as possible in identifying the information being sought and during what period of time.
