Western Carolina University (WCU) is seeking design services
for the following scope of work to create a campus
sustainability plan:
- Support for base development and collection of WCU
sustainability data and information regarding its
sustainability work to date, areas of institutional growth,
and best practices among its peers.
- Reviewing the current state of sustainability on campus
and creating a shared vision with key stakeholders utilizing
four focus areas: (1) academics and research, (2) campus
grounds, (3) materials management, (4) climate change
mitigation.
- Setting ambitious and implementable goals and strategies
for each focus area.
- Incorporating stakeholder feedback and synergy in all four
focus area and creating action plans for implementation.
- Facilitating community review and institutional
endorsement of the goals and strategies. | |
