Currently the preferred site for the Medical Education
Building is the Berryhill Hall site. Berryhill Hall houses
a vivarium that will be migrated to other facilities. We
are currently in the advanced planning stage for a series of
renovations in McGavran Greenberg, Taylor Hall, MBRB, and
Marsico (expansion) to accommodate the Berryhill vivarium.
In addition to the renovations, new caging will be purchased
and installed in Genetic Medicine Building (GMB), so an
assessment of the GMB HVAC is required.
Construction cost is estimated at around $10M.
This is a re-advertisment due to the low number of responses
received on the initial solicitation.
