Project Description
One-Two Sentences
This project entails roof replacement of the existing 41,900
sq. ft. McGavran Greenberg Building located off of Pittsboro
Street on the western edge of main campus. The construction
delivery system will be Single Prime. The McGavran Greenberg
Building has 3 roofing systems; a ballasted EPDM, an EPDM,
and sloping metal roof system. Of particular note is that
preliminary planning & reports were developed by a North
Carolina roofing engineer, REI Engineering and postponed
until the funding and scope was confirmed for either
informal or formal advertisement.
