Opportunities to Do Business with the Universities

The scope of this project is the removal of an existing 40,000 SF reinforced cement shingle roof, and a 1,500 SF single ply membrane roof in multiple locations. The existing shingles have deteriorated at an accelerated rate within the last year which requires that they be replaced in the summer of 2014 while the building is unoccupied. The scope of the project will include new 30-yr. architectural asphalt shingles, roof underlayment and wooden deck repair. A new membrane and roof insulation will be installed in select areas. The continuous gutter system, fascia, soffits and selected entry porches and columns will be repaired and painted. Responses should be no more than 30 sheets of paper (double sided), excluding SF 330 form. Current funding authorization is for advance planning only. The selected firm may be retained through full design and construction at the University's option. Submit 2 copies of the response in the following format: Tab 1: Completed Information Sheet; Tab 2: Letter of Interest (Cover Letter); Tab 3: Project Team Organization Chart (Identify members and work scope); Tab 4: Similar Project Experience (primary designer and consultants); Tab 5: Energy Conservation/LEED Experience (primary designer and consultants); Tab 6: Minority Business Participation Plan; Tab 7: Current SF 330.
