Project Description | One-Two Sentences Commissioning services for the following projects:
Sanford Hall Renovation-The existing building has 12 floors
and consists of approximately 106,096 sq. ft. The renovation
will require the building to meet the current code
requirements, upgrades of the elevator equipment, new
mechanical systems, new electrical systems, full window
replacements, full roof replacement, a brick clad facade on
the exterior of the building, and the possible re-design of
the individual student rooms. This building has a fully
addressable sprinkler and fire alarm system.
Residence Hall Phase XIV-new construction of a 145,000
(est.) gross square foot residential building consisting of
~425 beds in suite configuration. Phase XIV housing will be
built using LEED or Green Globes elements to be stewards of
our resources and available funds. Each floor will include
meeting and laundry rooms, and multi-purpose rooms. This
building will utilize brick and pre-cast concrete on the
exterior as is typical for this campus.
Elm, Maple, & Pine Renovation-
This complex is a 252 bed student residence facility built
in 1987. The proposed renovations will update the
mechanical, electrical, information technology and plumbing
systems and modernize the interiors. The complex will tie
into a new Regional Utility Plant (RUP) being constructed as
part of the Oak Hall Renovation project. Equipment (Chiller,
Boiler and Electrical) will be installed in the new RUP to
support the Elm, Maple and Pine renovation project. The
project will also include window and roof replacements, ADA
modifications to meet existing code requirements, and the
installation of six new elevators. | |||||
