Neurosciences Research Building - First Floor Upgrades
The former cagewash area on the first floor of Neurosciences
Research Building is not currently utilized following
construction activities from a prior capital project to
renovate the second floor for a new cagewash area. Both DCM
and SOM would like to renovate this first-floor area of
approximately 1,500 sf, to create additional vivarium lab
animal research spaces.
The University is seeking qualifications from Architect led
design teams for the design of this project. Interested
firms should provide one (1) PDF qualifications submittal to
the UNC-CH Project Manager by 12/20/2024.
A virtual Preproposal Meeting will be held via Zoom on
11/26/2024. Please email the UNC-CH Project Manager to
request the Zoom link and a Project Brief.
The current project is authorized for advance planning only.
The selected firm may be retained through full design and
construction at the university's option. | |||||
