| Project Description | One-Two Sentences The North Carolina Arboretum continues to expand its use of
electricity throughout campus and the gardens. Current
infrastructure has been expanded over the past 10 years to
accommodate the Arboretum's biggest fundraiser, Winter
Lights.
The selected electrical engineer will help the Arboretum
prepare a long-term electrical plan, including preparing the
documents and design for backup power generation for safety
lighting in the core gardens.
Current project authorization is for advance planning only.
The selected firm may be retained through full design and
construction at the Arboretum's option. | |||||
