NOTICE TO TRADE SUBCONTRACTORS ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID: Sealed proposals will be received by Balfour Beatty for the UNCG Campus Chilled Water Infrastructure and Equipment Improvements project. Bids for the following bid packages BP-01A General Trades, BP-23A Mechanical, BP-33A Chilled Water. Bids will be received and opened publicly at UNCG Gray Home, 105 Gray Drive, Greensboro, NC 27412. Bids will not be accepted from bidders that are not pre-qualified. On October 24, 2023 a Pre-Bid Meeting and HUB Outreach will be held at 2:00 PM virtually via Microsoft Teams. Notice of Public Meeting for Proposed Alternate Bids for Preferred Vendors and Owner preferred alternates will be reviewed, which are Onicon Flowmeters and Schneider Electric Controls.. All interested parties are advised that the prequalified bidders list will be finalized and made available via addendum no less than 7 days prior to bid. All Bidders are strongly encouraged to include opportunities for Minority Business participation wherever possible in their respective bid submission. Good faith efforts are a part of this contract and must comply with the State of North Carolina General Statutes. The CM and Owner reserve the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals.
