Project Description
One-Two Sentences
A pre-proposal meeting will be held on February 9, 2015 at
10:30 am at the Hinton James Residence Hall 515 Hinton James
Dr, Chapel Hill.
The Eringhaus and Hinton James Residence Hall roofs are
built-up flat roofs that were installed in 1987 and 1991,
respectively. The Carmichael Residence Hall has a 4-ply
built-up roof and aluminum roof installed in 1986. All of
the roofs are beyond the normal 20-year life and need
replacement before failure occurs. Fall protection will be
installed on Ehringhaus and Hinton James as part of this
