 Project Description One-Two Sentences
HVAC work in Barnard will include, but not be limited to, air handling unit replacements, CRAC units serving specialty areas, terminal reheat boxes replacement with VAV reheat, replace all HW/CW piping and retrofit lighting in Mechanical Room. The scope will also include upgrade of lighting systems for energy efficiency and replacement of the existing pneumatic control system with a new DDC system tied into the campus-wide Building Automation System (BAS). At the Student Activity Center (SAC) the work entails replacing the two existing 500 nominal ton water cooled chillers with one 800 ton high efficiency water-cooled chiller complete with new primary pump package. Existing chillers were installed in 1994.
