Opportunities to Do Business with the Universities

The proposed project is for the design of roof replacements for the following buildings located on the UNC Charlotte campus. -Fretwell- 162,700 SF -Belk Gym-164,500 SF -King Building-28,700 SF -Memorial Hall-12,400SF -Athletic Storage-2,000SF -Steam Plant-4,200SF -McMillan Greenhouse-9,200 SF -Solvent Storage Building-1,300SF All square footages are approximate. These facilities were built in the 1970-1980 era and still have their original roofs. All of the roofs have reached the end of their service life and require replacement. The existing roof types may vary and will be verified by the design team during Advanced Planning. Project approval pending. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 22, 2013 in room 145 of the College of Health and Human Services building.
