| Project Description | One-Two Sentences This project will provide critical utility redundancy for
the data center located within the Worsley Administrative
Complex. The data center supports university and
non-university clients, and must remain operational without
interruption. Electrical, emergency, and cooling systems
will be modified to optimize the data center capacity and to
minimize risk of single point failure. Systems will be
evaluated to isolate data center support from building
operations. Significant experience with data center systems
and risk management is required of the design team. Options
may include the addition of equipment to the building site.
A focus will be on equipment and configurations that promote
energy conservation. Current project authorization is for
advanced planning only. The selected firm may be retained
through full design and construction at the
