The project includes deconstruction and demolition of Harrelson Hall on North Carolina State University's North Campus. The existing structure is a hybrid framing system composed of cast-in-place concrete frames and precast floor elements. The structure has a total finished square footage of approximately 125,000 square feet, comprised of a ground level, three elevated levels and a partial basement. Asbestos abatement and other select waste removal will be required prior to structural demolition. Structural demolition is anticipated to be completed by conventional, mechanical methods. The project includes re-development of the building site into a plaza area.
