Opportunities to Do Business with the Universities

North Carolina State University is seeking prequalification statements from general contractors for the replacement of the existing glycol refrigeration system serving the building's walk-in freezers and coolers. The project involves transitioning the existing standalone system to a more reliable chilled water/glycol configuration by integrating it with the main campus chilled water loop. The scope includes the installation of heat exchangers, specialized piping for freezer rooms, and all associated mechanical, electrical, and control system upgrades. A critical requirement for this project is the ability to manage phased construction within an active, high-occupancy dining facility to ensure zero interruption to dining services and daily operations.
