| Project Description | One-Two Sentences Advance planning and subsequent capital improvements will
address aging mechanical systems, original exterior windows,
and remaining inefficient bedroom lighting serving the
University Suites residential complex. The project is
anticipated to replace the existing variable refrigerant
flow (VRF) systems, installed in 2011, with new
high-efficiency heat-recovery VRF systems capable of
providing simultaneous heating and cooling, including
associated indoor and outdoor equipment, refrigerant and
condensate distribution, controls, electrical modifications,
and related work.
Current project authorization is for Advanced Planning only.
The selected firm may be retained through full design and
construction at the University's option. The Project
Budget listed is for Advance Planning/Early Design Phase
