 Project Description One-Two Sentences
Project to upgrade two existing natural turf playing surfaces at Blount Recreational Sports Complex to synthetic turf all-purpose fields, sized to NCAA regulation for soccer, men's and women's lacrosse, field hockey, and flag football. Layout of the synthetic fields will include space for a softball field and baseball field. Project will also include drainage upgrades for both synthetic turf fields and infrastructure for future lighting addition. Current project authorization is for advance planning only. The selected firm may be retained through full design and construction at the university's option.
