At Fayetteville State University (FSU), leaders recently utilized pandemic funding to clear the debt of all students who attended the university at any point during the pandemic. Any student with a past due balance was cleared. Students attending the FSU from fall 2019 to spring 2021 now have zero balances.

But for most, campus life offers the most comprehensive access to the learning and living experiences that lead to more fulfilling lives, research discoveries and medical breakthroughs, and a stronger North Carolina. That is why the UNC System has invested heavily in making its campuses safe places to teach, study, live, and work this fall.
