CHAPEL HILL, NC – The University of North Carolina Board of Governors has selected 17 outstanding faculty members to receive the 2022 Awards for Excellence in Teaching.
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Dr. Jane Hoppin of North Carolina State University and Dr. Arwin D. Smallwood of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University received the 2021 Governor James E. Holshouser, Jr. Award for Excellence in Public Service during today’s regular meeting of the UNC Board of Governors.
The UNC Board of Governors will meet in regular session at the Center for School Leadership Development in Chapel Hill on Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022 at 9 a.m. A total of six committee meetings of the Board will be held starting on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022.

RALEIGH – University of North Carolina President Peter Hans was formally inaugurated Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021, during a ceremony at North Carolina State University’s Hunt Library.
