The University of North Carolina Board of Governors Subcommittee for the Governor James E. Holshouser, Jr. Award for Excellence in Public Service will hold a special meeting at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2026.
The purpose of the special meeting is to discuss nominations for the award. The meeting agenda can be found on the UNC System website.
The meeting will be held virtually and will originate at 223 S. West St. in Raleigh. Portions of the meeting will be streamed online, providing the public with simultaneous live audio and video. The meeting livestream will be hosted by PBS North Carolina.
If technical difficulties with the video stream occur, video will be disabled for members and the public, and the meeting will be conducted and streamed in audio format only. Please note that some items may be considered in closed session under the provisions of the Open Meetings Law.
