The Executive Leadership Institute, established in 2020, aims to increase the ability of talented employees to move into senior leadership positions across the System and prepare experienced leaders for more demanding roles or re-energizing in their current roles.
“We want to keep building a pool of well-prepared, highly qualified leaders for our public universities,” said UNC System President Peter Hans. “This leadership development program is a wise investment in our future.”
Learning modules are designed to deepen expertise essential for success at the executive level. Six interactive and experiential immersion modules will be delivered via a hybrid of virtual and face-to-face instruction at the UNC System Office and three UNC System partner institutions over the course of the eight-month program. Additional team and individual executive coaching components are provided in partnership with UNC Wilmington. For more information, visit the Executive Leadership Institute website.
