The UNC Board of Governors will meet in regular session at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021. A total of eight committee meetings of the Board will be held starting on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021.
Due to current COVID-19 conditions, members of the public and media are encouraged to view Board of Governors committee meetings and the Board meeting itself virtually. A media availability with Chair Ramsey and President Hans will be conducted virtually following the Board meeting on Thursday. Credentialed press can RSVP to jnellis@northcarolina.edu.
Because the University Code permits remote participation in committee meetings, in addition to committee members and staff who attend in person, other committee members and staff may participate in committee meetings by simultaneous communication, including by conference telephone and video.
The in-person meeting of the UNC Board of Governors and meetings of individual committees will be simultaneously streamed live online so that simultaneous live audio and video of all meetings are available to the public. If any technical difficulty with the video stream is encountered, the video will be disabled for members and the public, and the meetings will be conducted and streamed in audio format only.
