The University of North Carolina Board of Governors will meet in special session at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026. There will also be a total of four special committee meetings to be held on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026.
These meetings are designated as special meetings so that board members may attend virtually. The virtual meetings will originate from the UNC System Office, 223 S. West Street, Suite 1800 in Raleigh, NC. The complete schedule of meetings for the week is available on our website.
Portions of the meetings will be streamed online so that simultaneous live audio and video of the meetings are available to the public. The livestream of the meetings can be found here.
If any technical difficulty with the video stream is encountered, the video will be disabled for members and the public, and the meetings will be conducted and streamed in audio format only. Please note that some items may be considered in closed session under the provisions of the Open Meetings Law.
