The UNC Board of Governors Committee on University Governance will meet at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 via conference call. The purpose of the meeting will be to address confidential personnel matters and consult with counsel.
In light of Governor Cooper’s Executive Order No. 141, which restricts the size of gatherings and includes social distancing standards, these meetings will be conducted as remote meetings pursuant to N.C.G.S. § 166A-19.24. Committee members and staff will participate in the meetings by simultaneous communication, including by conference telephone and video.
These remote meetings will be simultaneously streamed live online so that simultaneous live audio and video of the meeting is available to the public. If any technical difficulty with the video stream is encountered, the video will be disabled for members and the public, and the meetings will be conducted and streamed in audio format only.
Please note that some items will be considered in closed session under the provisions of the Open Meetings Law.
