Fayetteville State University (FSU) has signed a master Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC). Womack is a medical center and research facility located at Fort Bragg, North Carolina—the largest military installation in the U.S. by population.

The purpose of this Agreement is twofold: (1) to further expedite the progress of research at WAMC by leveraging expertise and resources at FSU and (2) to facilitate the transfer of new innovations developed at WAMC for potential use in the private sector.

According to Dr. Pamela Jackson, Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, “We view this partnership as an important step toward linking research, innovation, and technologies developed at Fayetteville State University with the mission of the Womack Army Medical Center.”
