U.S. News & World Report, publisher of Best Colleges and Best Online Programs, has released the 2014 Best Online Programs for Veterans on usnews.com. UNCW has tied at #22 with UNC Pembroke.

The rankings, now in their second year, were designed to help veterans identify high-quality online degree programs that suit their educational needs. U.S. News & World Report developed the Best Online Programs for Veterans and inaugural Best Colleges for Veterans, released in November, to help the thousands of returning veterans and active-duty service members pursue college or advanced degrees under the Post-9/11 GI Bill.

“We are very proud of this national ranking,” says Kenneth Teitelbaum, Dean of theUNCW Watson College of Education. “It is an indication of the dedicated work of Watson College faculty and staff, with crucial help from colleagues across campus, to meet the personalized needs of graduate students, including veterans. By using the most current online technology, we strive to enhance the teaching and learning that takes place in our graduate programs and to make the experience as accessible as possible to veterans and others.”
