CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The University of North Carolina System will host its Virtual 2022 Behavioral Health Convening on March 30-31. This year’s seminar is supported by a partnership with the North Carolina Community College System and North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities.
The University of North Carolina System Office has awarded $981,181 in grant funding to 12 UNC System institutions to increase behavioral health capacity and strengthen mental health resources available to students starting this fall.
Elizabeth City State University and United Airlines Aviate pilot career development program have partnered to train a new generation of pilots. The 2021 Virtual Behavioral Health Convening is an opportunity for representatives from the System’s 17 institutions to share best practices, programs and ideas that help nurture healthy campus communities. The theme, “RESILIENCE,” speaks to the challenges campuses have faced during the 2020-21 academic year. Sessions will examine COVID-19’s effects on the mental health of students, faculty and staff.
