Higher Education Legal Fellow
Joined the UNC System Office in 2020
Ms. Lohr serves as the Higher Education Legal Fellow for the UNC System Office. As a legal fellow, Ms. Lohr has gained a broad exposure to a diverse, varied, and active public higher education law practice by working with the Legal Affairs Staff and the 17 constituent institutions of the University of North Carolina System.
During law school, Ms. Lohr was a member of the Moot Court Board, served as the Notes and Comments Editor of the Elon University Law Review, worked as a research assistant, and interned at both the North Carolina Court of Appeals and the North Carolina Business Court. Ms. Lohr also served on a committee of Superior Court Judges, where she helped compose and revise North Carolina’s criminal pattern jury instructions.
Ms. Lohr received a B.S. in natural resources from North Carolina State University and a J.D. from Elon University School of Law.
