Strategic changes to delivering instruction ease the burden on classroom spaces. Institutions are taking different approaches; however, all approaches are consistent with CDC and NCDHHS guidance, as well as with the Governor’s executive orders.
Many faculty will employ hybrid approaches to teaching, combining remote technologies with in-person instruction. In addition, many of our institutions are shortening their academic calendars and eliminating mid-semester breaks to minimize possible travel to infection hot spots.
The guidance documents on the UNC System Intranet are intended for leadership and employees of the UNC System institutions. Log in is required.
Our Digital Learning team has designed the following site to support the use of technology that will allow faculty to hold remote classes: Moving to Alternative Instructional Formats.
