The Honors Program congratulates Global Scholars Josesita Espino and Makail Mosley. They were selected to participate in Global Take Off: Puerto Rico 2016, a collaborative study abroad experience between UNC-Chapel Hill and Fayetteville State University. Josesita and Makail will join students from UNC Chapel Hill for travel to Puerto Rico December 14th through 20th.  FSU was awarded two slots and seven, freshmen Global Scholars competed for the two slots, while more than 100 UNC-Chapel Hill freshmen competed for the ten UNC-Chapel Hill slots. The students will travel to Chapel Hill on Tuesday, November 1st to attend the first of three pre-departure orientations.

Josesita Espino is an  intended Criminal Justice major from Greenville, NC and Makail Mosley is an intended Criminal Justice major from Havelock, NC. Olivia Mason, a freshman Global Scholar from Mullins, SC was selected as an alternate.

The staff of the Honors Program and International Education were instrumental in this collaboration.
