Dear UNC System Advancement Colleagues,

On behalf of the University of North Carolina, we are delighted to welcome you to Winston-Salem State University for the 2016 UNC System Advancement Symposium.  The Symposium provides participants a platform to exchange ideas, discover novel opportunities, reacquaint with colleagues, meet new friends, and broaden their knowledge.  This year’s theme, “Campaign Season” will cover aspects of comprehensive campaigns on many levels.  The numerous workshop and keynote plenary sessions will encompass topics that focus on a wide range of disciplines within advancement – from prospect research to gift planning and from alumni and annual giving to communications.  We will certainly benefit from industry expertise locally and nationally.

Whether you are an advancement novice or veteran; in alumni relations, fundraising, marketing and communications there is something for you to learn and take home from this year’s UNC Advancement Symposium.  We are pleased to welcome the Education Advisory Board’s Holly Chatman, Bruce Flessner of Bentz Whaley Flessner and Amy Bronson from Boston University to lead this year’s plenary sessions. There will be rich programming, targeted discussions and an abundance of networking opportunities.

We look forward to seeing you at Winston-Salem State University on May 16-17!
