The CFNC Resource Center is responsible for training and outreach efforts to elementary, middle and high schools; development and dissemination of all college access publications; Spanish services; and curriculum resources.
The CFNC Resource Center’s Call Center is staffed by college information specialists, and includes one Spanish-speaking and eight English-speaking graduate students. These individuals are responsible for answering and responding to e-mail and telephone inquires Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Located on the campus of UNC Greensboro, the Resource Center provides services in five primary areas:
Over 500,000 requested each year
Approximately 1,000 educators trained annually
Over 17,000 phone and email inquiries annually
Spanish-language outreach plus web, print, phone and email services
Career and College Planning Curricula
Activities and lesson plans for over 100,000 students annually
