Prequalifying for | Seeking qualification statements from general contractors
for renovations to the Carbon Electronics Lab in Partners
III, located at 851 Main Campus Drive, Raleigh, NC 27607.
The project scope consists of the construction of a 4,766
square foot interior renovation of an existing lab and
offices into an open lab and dry room. The work includes,
but is not limited to, interior finishes and glazing,
casework, 6 fume hoods, plus associated plumbing,
mechanical, electrical, security and fire protection system
modifications.
The project is scheduled to begin work on 3/21/2018 and
complete on or before 8/8/2018.
To qualify, the contractor must have a general
contractor's license in the State of North Carolina as
well as meet applicable bonding requirements. The contractor
must show comparable work experience, both in complexity and
dollar value, and preferably in a University campus
environment, to the scope of work outlined above.
To be considered, the contractor must obtain an application
package from the NC State University Project Manager and
submit a sealed, fully completed qualification document by
5:00 PM, January 3, 2018, to Lisa Keel, project manager, at
Administrative Services Building III, 2701 Sullivan Dr.,
Suite 331, NCSU, Campus Box 7520, Raleigh, NC 27695-7520.
Application packages are available electronically. Please
contact the project manager via email (preferred) or phone
to request a package. Three (3) hard copies of completed
qualification packages must be submitted to the project
manager. Completed qualification packages will not be
accepted electronically.
