Opportunities to Do Business with the Universities

The Grounds Department is currently housed in the Physical Plant Maintenance Shop and the Grounds Maintenance Shop buildings which are slated for demolition due to another project. UNC is advertising for a designer to design a permanent relocation for the Grounds Department to the Carolina North Campus. The project will renovate several of the existing buildings at Carolina North and locate a metal building on site. In addition to the Grounds Department relocation, there is an existing fuel station on the Grounds site that will be relocated to another spot on the main campus. The project also includes the abatement and demolition of the Physical Plant Maintenance Shop and the Grounds Maintenance Shop buildings. UNC is soliciting services for a team to design three packages for this project: abatement and demolition of existing Grounds, fuel station relocation, and renovation of 2-3 buildings along with the design of a metal building at Carolina North.
