Project Description
One-Two Sentences
East Carolina University is seeking the services of a
qualified design firm to provide full architectural and
engineering services for a Renovation for the ECU Police
Department, Phase 1 project. The Police Department's
current facilities do not fully support the desired
functional composition of an optimal police department.
Their department's division across multiple facilities
creates operational inefficiencies. In support of improved,
command and control capabilities, the project's goal is
to consolidate the current disparately located operations
into a single renovated area of approximately 19,000 square
feet. East Carolina University encourages participation by
MWBE firms and supports UNC system's policy of ensuring
and promoting opportunities for Historically Underutilized
Businesses.
Current project authority is for advance planning only. The
selected firm may be retained for full design and
construction administration services at the
university's discretion.
