The proposed project is a one-story, approximately 6,000 gross square-foot, facility that will provide an Urban and Community Food Processing Center. The design approach of the building will focus upon sustainable agriculture and urban, local, and community food systems. The layout of the proposed building complex will include but not be limited to: Meeting rooms, Classrooms, Creamery, Cold Storage units, Postharvest Physiology Lab, Food processing Lab, Food Preparation Lab, etc.
