| Project Description | One-Two Sentences Provide design and construction administration services for
the renovation of a 12 story, 109,654sf residence hall built
in 1972. The renovation will require the building to meet
the current code requirements, upgrades of the elevator
equipment, new mechanical systems, new electrical systems,
full window replacements, full roof replacement, a brick
clad facade on the exterior of the building, and the
possible re-design of the individual student rooms.
A mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held on March 18,
2015 at 10:30 a.m. in Room 341 (Lucas Room) of the Cone
University Center, on the UNC Charlotte campus (#5 on the
campus map - http://facilities.uncc.edu/maps).
Current project authority is for advance planning only. The
selected designer may be retained through full design and
construction at the University's option. | |||||
