24, 2022 via Electronic submission. All responses should be
delivered electronically in PDF format via email to W. Steve
Martin at martinw@uncsa.edu and Krissy Ferguson at

solicitation. This project is for a comprehensive renovation
to the historic Stevens Center Performing Arts Center in

preservation of the building's 1929 facade,
transformation of the main lobby, possible expansion of the
stage and back of house facilities, enlargement and

addressing accessibility.
The selected Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) firm will
work closely with the Architects and Engineers to provide a
construction perspective and expertise to the design
process. The work of the CMR will be performed in two phases
under separate contracts for each phase. Phase 1 will
include the pre-construction phase services and the
preparation and submission of the Guaranteed Maximum Price
(GMP) ensuring the work can be accomplished within the
approximate $23.4 million hard cost and $29.8 million total
project. Preconstruction services will include, but not be
limited to cost estimating, life-cycle cost analyses,
building type/method cost analyses, phasing and sequencing
analyses, schedule development, value-engineering, BIM
