condensate piping running from the North Campus walkable
steam tunnel into the mechanical rooms of DH Hill Library.
The scope includes asbestos abatement; removal of steam pipe
and condensate pipe, and relocation of a Pressure Reducing
Valve (PRV) station from inside the tunnel; excavation over
the trench located south of the Atrium; installation of new
150 psi steam and condensate pipe, structural supports;
installation of insulation around the new 150 psi steam
pipe; installation of new PRV stations in the mechanical
rooms. This project will include all site work and grading
and paving.
