Sealed proposals will be received by Balfour Beatty Construction/Metcon for UNCW to renovate the Wagoner Central Energy Plant as part of the Veterans Hall project. Bids for the following packages will be opened publicly on July 19, 2018: 23A Mechanical; 23B Controls; 26A Electrical. Bids will not be accepted from bidders who are not pre-qualified. On June 28, 2018 a HUB Outreach session and Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 2:00 PM at UNCW Office of Facilities, CR2, 5150 Lionfish Dr, Wilmington, NC 28403. All Bidders are strongly encouraged to include opportunities for Minority Business participation wherever possible in their respective bid submission. Minority Business is a part of this contract and must comply with the State of North Carolina General Statutes. The CM and Owner reserve the right to reject any and all proposals.
