Resources for Students
The University of North Carolina is comprised of sixteen of the most well-respected institutions of higher education in the world. Each campus exercises a unique and independent process for determining student admission at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
The links below will help you get started, and provide general admissions and contact information.
Course and Admissions Requirements
Minimum course requirements established by the Board of Governors necessary for admission into undergraduate programs.
All 16 UNC campuses use CFNC.org, a free service allowing users to complete college admissions applications, apply to North Carolina colleges and universities and then track the progress of submitted applications. CFNC.org also offers Transcript Manager. Transcript Manager lets students electronically request their official high school transcript and submit it with their application when applying online through CFNC.org.
Comprehensive Articulation Agreement
A statewide agreement governing the transfer of credits between NC community colleges and NC public universities.
