Mr. Davies has served as the Chief of Staff for the University since 2006. In this role, he coordinates and oversees the administrative operations of General Administration . In addition, he helps the President and his leadership team establish University priorities, identify important issues confronting UNC, and develop policy recommendations and actions. Prior to assuming the responsibilities of the Chief of Staff position, he served as the Vice President for Finance for seven years.
Joni Worthington
As vice president, Ms. Worthington is responsible for media relations for the UNC president and UNC Board of Governors, editorial and communications support for the president, and oversight of selected University publications and special projects. She also provides communications advice and counsel to the senior leadership team at UNC General Administration and serves as a liaison between the President’s Office and communications officers for all UNC campuses and affiliates and various state agencies.

As executive assistant to the President, Ms. Parrish maintains the President’s calendar; coordinates the scheduling of meetings, events, and travel; and provides other administrative support as required.
Kathy Jones
Ms. Jones manages the President’s correspondence and provides ongoing back-up support to his executive assistant. She coordinates the scheduling of meetings, events, and travel for not only the Chief of Staff but also the other Vice Presidents and Associate Vice Presidents in the department. She also serves as UNC General Administration’s webmaster.
