ECU Professor Receives 2013 O. Max Gardner Award
Samuel F. Sears, Jr., Director of Doctoral Programs in Health Psychology at East Carolina University and Director of Cardiac Psychology Services at the East Carolina Heart Institute, was honored with the O. Max Gardner Award today (Friday, April 12) by the Board of Governors of the 17-campus University of North Carolina.

UNC Board of Governors Announces University-wide Awards for Teaching
The Board of Governors of the multi-campus University of North Carolina has selected 17 of its most outstanding faculty to receive the 19th Annual Awards for Excellence in Teaching. Each award winner will receive a commemorative bronze medallion and a $7,500 cash prize.
