WSSU International Programs Receives new FIPSE Grant in Partnership with UNC Charlotte
Winston-Salem State University (WSSU) and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC) will receive $249,896 from the U.S. Department of Education’s Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE) to foster student exchange and faculty collaboration with three Brazilian universities.

WSSU Awarded Business and International Education Grant
The Department of Management and Marketing at the WSSU School of Business and Economics has been selected to receive funding under the Business and International Education (BIE) Program. Dr. Alician Kavas and Dr. Suresh Gopalan were awarded $171,875 over the next two years implement their proposed ideas for the grant.

WSSU Students Participate in International Fieldwork Practicum in Costa Rica
Six Winston-Salem State University (WSSU) students and a faculty member recently returned from an international fieldwork experience in Costa Rica where they delivered supplies and provided medical treatment for children and adults.
