A new small-business initiative in North Carolina is enlisting college students to help small companies solve recession-related problems.

UNC Charlotte is working with the NC Small Business and Technology Development Center to find local companies interested in hosting a graduate-level intern for the spring semester. The intern, a graduate student working toward an MBA, would serve as a consultant with the business owner to identify and solve problems in the company.
