Ms. Henz identifies research opportunities and supports the policy, program, and budget process. She participates in the development of the Academic Affairs Division's strategic and operational plan and coordinates specialized data collection with other unit directors and with appropriate individuals on the campuses. She is the chief point of contact between academic planning and the offices and staffs responsible for developing budget and tuition models.
Mr. Dean coordinates the Southern Regional Education Board’s Academic Common Market for the State of North Carolina and manages the UNC Academic Common Market website. He edits reports and other documents for presentation or publication, prepares presentation slides for staff members, and designs, prints, and electronically scans student survey instruments and other questionnaires for data capture. He is also a web content manager for Academic Affairs and gives special attention to the webites of the UNC Faculty Assembly, the UNC-GA Staff Forum, and Study North Carolina.
Mr. Hill coordinates the collection and publication of space inventory and utilization data for all 17 constituent institutions of the University of North Carolina, the 58 community colleges, and the participating private institutions in North Carolina. He also maintains the Facilities Condition Assessment Program (FCAP) database on which repair and renovation funding allocations are based.
Ms. Cooke assists the Director of Space Utilization and Analysis in the collection and publication of space inventory and utilization data for all 17 constituent institutions in the UNC system, the 58 community colleges, and the participating private institutions in North Carolina.
Dr. Yang is responsible for data compilation, presentation, and analyses associated with the University-wide Accountability Plan and Performance Measures. She produces reports related to policy issues; identifies research opportunities, designs and conducts studies with appropriate GA staff and/or external parties, and provides analyses of the data to guide internal management decision-making; and coordinates specialized data collection.
Mr. Brown's primary responsibility is to provide technical leadership in the use of SAS software to collect, edit, and produce information from the Division databases by creating web data collection screens containing edits of the data as entered, creating web screens to access the Division databases, and investigating the use of SAS software to produce output in both printed and web form.
Ms. Dow coordinates and supervises the collection and analysis of data for the North Carolina Higher Education Data (NCHED) and other data collection efforts from the 17 constituent UNC campuses, the NCCCS, and other private institutions of higher education in North Carolina. She prepares the Applications/Acceptances report, Administrative Salary Study, SHEEO Salary Survey, and assists with the submission of CSRDE, SHEEO-SHEF, and SREB data. Ms. Dow produces the annual Statistical Abstract, Record Layouts, and provides tabular and graphic presentations for use by the Division. Ms. Dow serves as Human Resources Facilitator and Web Content Manager for the Division.
Mr. Dunston assists with the coordination of the data management and quality efforts of the Division to ensure accurate data for tracking systems by performing audits and analyses on all data files collected by the Division.
Ms. Fulcher identifies, collects, cleans, and maintains the University-wide data needed for University management processes and the completion of internal and external reporting requirements. Ms. Fulcher is responsible for designing, writing, and maintaining new and existing computer programs to support the Institutional Research and Analysis Division, other divisions of UNC-GA, the 17 institutions of the University of North Carolina, and the general public.
Ms. Haywood’s primary responsibility is to provide leadership in the collection, documentation, maintenance, and use of the information databases kept by the Division. She is responsible for the design, integration, and management of all of the data files collected from the 17 constituent UNC campuses, NCCCS, NC State agencies, and Federal agencies and maintained by the division. Mrs. Haywood oversees the design and interface of these different data files using common elements in order to produce reports for UNC-GA staff, the NC General Assembly, Board of Governors, Federal Government, the media, NCSDPI, NCCCS, and the general public.
Mr. Helton coordinates the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) web-based collections for the University of North Carolina institutions and serves as keyholder for the IPEDS surveys that UNC General Administration is required to complete. He works with the 17 UNC campus institutional research offices in collecting, editing, data-cleansing, and reporting of Student Data Files for applied, enrolled, and graduated students.
Ms. Johnson oversees the designing, writing, testing, modifying, and debugging of computer programs, creating test data and devising test plans for checking the accuracy of new and existing programs, analyzing project requests, designing input and output specifications, and providing consultation to users to provide technical assistance when needed.
Ms. Reaves manages the collection of the Student Data File and Course Grade File and oversees the designing, writing, testing, modifying, and debugging of related computer programs, creating test data and devising test plans for checking the accuracy of new and existing programs, analyzing project requests, designing input and output specifications, and providing consultation to users to provide technical assistance when needed.
Ms. Kwon supervises the programming staff and oversees the collection of all data files used by the division. She leads the design, integration, and management of data collection, editing, and reporting tools used with the data files collected and maintained by the division.
