In April 2011 UNC FIT completed implementation of a new payroll system at nine campuses, transitioning them off the State's Central Payroll system.
Following a careful assessment, a joint decision was made to move the campuses to an integrated system that would allow the University to centrally process payrolls for all nine campuses using a unified set of best practices to process payroll in a consistent manner.
