NC State University is seeking qualification statements from general contractors for improvements to the Scott Hall Chilled Water Connection project, located on North Campus. The scope of work will consist of the installation of 225 LF of new underground chilled water supply and chilled water return piping from the main trunk lines near the brickyard into the Scott Hall mechanical room, the removal of the existing water cooled chiller from the Scott Hall mechanical room, the removal of the existing cooling tower located on the roof of Scott Hall, connection of the existing building chilled water system to the central campus chilled water system, and associated electrical work. Interested general contractors should have experience in the installation of chilled water systems and preferably have worked on a university campus environment.
