Folt Named Chancellor of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Carol L. Folt, Interim President of Dartmouth College and the Dartmouth Professor of Biological Sciences, has been elected Chancellor of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill by the Board of Governors of the 17-campus University of North Carolina.

ECU Professor Receives 2013 O. Max Gardner Award
Samuel F. Sears, Jr., Director of Doctoral Programs in Health Psychology at East Carolina University and Director of Cardiac Psychology Services at the East Carolina Heart Institute, was honored with the O. Max Gardner Award today (Friday, April 12) by the Board of Governors of the 17-campus University of North Carolina.

UNC Board of Governors Announces University-wide Awards for Teaching
The Board of Governors of the multi-campus University of North Carolina has selected 17 of its most outstanding faculty to receive the 19th Annual Awards for Excellence in Teaching. Each award winner will receive a commemorative bronze medallion and a $7,500 cash prize.
